Welcome to Tedsnotes.com!

My name is Ted Sheridan. I have been tutoring math in the San Francisco Bay Area for ten years, and now work out of Boston. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, 2003. I've tutored math at the City College of San Francisco Learning Assistance Center (as a full-time tutor coordinator), through UC Berkeley Extension, several San Francisco and New York private tutoring companies, and independently since 1998.

My Philosophy:

Ten years of tutoring has taught me one thing - ANYONE CAN LEARN MATH! While not everyone is a born math whiz, with a lot of patience and practice anyone can learn the concepts and tools they need to excel in math. I've worked with countless self-described 'math phobics', and have helped them get over their blocks by explaining concepts on a basic level in ways that anyone can understand. Above all, I'm friendly, encouraging and extremely patient, and I enjoy working with others to help them achieve their goals.
